Hinshaw has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Hinshaw brings a broad and diverse leadership background to Candle Lamp. He has held the top executive position at several companies, most recently with a Westar Capital portfolio company based in Corona, CA. He has significant experience, in various positions in the building products industry and with internationally recognized brand name consumer products such as Levolor, Beatrice/Del Mar Window Coverings, and Samsonite. Don Hinshaw succeeds Larry Rembold, who becomes CEO of another Westar Capital portfolio company. "Don is the perfect choice to lead us during our next era of growth. RIVERSIDE, CA – Candle Lamp the leading provider of premium candle lamps, clear liquid wax and high-performance chafing fuels to the foodservice industry, is proud to announce that Ron Riley has been promoted to Vice President of Operations. Candle Lamp President and CEO, Don Hinshaw made the announcement.
Riley joined the company in 2003, heading up the Candle Lamp Memphis Operation. In his tenure, he has overseen both manufacturing and operations, with his most recent position as Candle Lamp Director of Operations. “Ron has an impressive skill set and has always demonstrated a true dedication to Candle Lamp and its customers,” stated Hinshaw. “His significant experience and ability to meet strategic objectives makes him the ideal candidate for this position. We congratulate and recognize Ron for his well-earned promotion,” Hinshaw continued.
Ron owned and operated a private Consulting Company prior to his service at Candle Lamp. Previous to that he held key management positions at both Sofamor-Danek and W.M. Barr Company.
